Description

The 68 acre Farm is located on the side of a picturesque valley on the edge of the Derbyshire Peak District. The farm has been operating for 21 years and offers training and lessons covering all aspects of dressage schooling and competition as well as having livery stables and an onsite farm shop!

The employer is an international dressage rider looking for a competent and confident apprentice who is able to handle fit competition horses and stallions. We would be able to offer a Traineeship for those aged 16-18 providing you will be able to show a professional manner and able to use your own initiative. Some basic knowledge and experience is essential for this role.

Additional riding lesson will be provided on your own horse.

All general yard duties such as: Mucking out, Tacking up, Cleaning tack, Feeding Haying/watering, Exercising horses if competent rider.

  • Previous experience with horses is essential. If you do not have the relevant experience we will not be able to put you forward for this position.

GCSE Level 4/ Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent.
