Description
Deer Park Country House is an award winning exclusive use wedding and events venue where no two days are the same. As a commis chef your duties will be varied and dependant on your experience. You will get opportunities to work in all areas of the main kitchen as well as in our outdoor kitchens cooking over wood fire and with our pizza oven.
Duties will include:
- Preparation of fruit vegetables, fish and meat
- Pastry and bread making
- Assisting on the cooking and preparation of salads and buffets
- Assisting in plating up high quality meals
- Preparing pizzas and cooking pizzas
- Assisting other chefs
Competitive salary dependant on experience, between £7.50 - £10 per hour. There is a live in option available for the right candidate.

Kitchens can be hot and busy, sometimes stressful There will be some kitchen cleaning with the whole team will be expected and sometimes the hours are long and unsociable. Working most Saturdays would be mandatory
