Description of Opportunity

From buying and selling horses to produce, to onsite breeding with foaling stables, mares, Stallions and youngstock.


We are a showjumping and competion yard, Regular international and national shows, so plenty of opportunities for our new apprentice groom to travel to shows, with riding opportunities for the right candidate. Experience needed and competent in handling horses from the ground.


General yard duties to include

· Mucking out

· Turning out/bringing in

· Tack cleaning

· Tacking up

· Clipping/plaiting/trimming

· Exercising horses

· Field duties

· Riding

· Schooling

· Rug changing

· Bathing

· Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

· Bandaging

· Long-reining
