Description of Opportunity

Main responsibilities will include:

  • To provide general administration support to the department
  • File opening & closing
  • Preparing documentation as directed, audio typing, drafting, word processing
  • Photocopying, faxing, filing
  • Client contact face to face, by phone and written correspondence
  • Maintaining case management systems
  • To ensure that quality and client care standards are adhered to
  • To assist with other teams as directed
  • Ensure positive representation of the firm at all times
  • To ensure conducive working relationships with colleagues, clients and third parties

  • Admin experience (desirable)
  • Relevant work experience
  • Good IT skills including MS Office
  • Excellent written and spoken English with good numeracy and literacy
  • Attention to detail
  • Quick to adapt to changing priorities
  • Min. 5 GCSEs, including English & Maths at grade A-C/9-4.
  • Business Administration Level 3 with Legal Pathways
  • Functional skills level 2 in Maths, ICT and English
  • Interest in the Legal sector
  • An aptitude for learning
  • Ability to work as a team and also on own initiative
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Can do attitude
  • Good reliability and timekeeping
  • Progression opportunities will be discussed at interview.
Year 1: £12,000 2nd year - The higher of £12,000 (pro rata for part year) or Statutory Minimum wage Monday to Friday 9am-5pm 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and half a day for your birthday
