Description
A unique experience has become available for an apprentice to join the team in the Student Services Department of a leading provider of Electrical training courses
They are looking for someone to join the team as an apprentice and provide excellent customer service and support to their students.
Duties to include:
- Meet and greet all visitors to the Centre including students, new customers etc.
- Candidate Registration – To register candidates on the first day of their course including checking ID and ensuring candidate details held are correct on AccessPlanit.
- Payment – To take and record customer payments on Ledgers and System.
- Generate Course Materials – Print Course materials, handouts and any other paperwork required for courses prior to the start of the week.
- Register candidates for the qualifications using Walled Garden.
- Exam Invigilation – All aspects of Invigilation as and when required including some evenings.
- Refreshments – Ensure that the drinks machines are filled, and stock replenished as and when required.
- Certification – Check and post City and Guild Certificates to candidates
- Candidate Support – Explain the examination process prior to the examination and addressing any issues.
- Liaise with other departments as required to provide support to students and colleagues
- General Administration – Filing, Reception, Post, Telephone etc
- Receive, coordinate and notify relevant parties of all deliveries and post coming into the centre.
- Provide administrative support to Team Leaders and Directors at the Centre.
- Checking the Students Services email inbox on a daily basis and respond accordingly to the queries
As an Apprentice you will be included on a Level 2 Customer Service Qualification. Your qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Regional Trainer coming to visit you in the workplace on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, whether this be face-to-face, by telephone or by email.• Able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with individuals at all levels.• Strong organisational skills.• Good time management skills.
Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English or, GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and maths would be ideal but not essential, as this will be covered in your training programme.
