Our Day Care Centre is the largest on the Wirral with over 13,000sqft of space, including 2 indoor rooms and 2 outdoor yards with an indoor swimming pool. We are licensed to care for a maximum of 60 dogs per day, at a ratio of 8 dogs to 1 staff member.

Description

We are the largest Day Care Centre on the Wirral. We are local experts in canine fun and our Centre is a dogs idea of heaven! PetWise is looking for an outgoing, confident and most importantly, a dog lover to become our newest Doggy Day Care Assistant.

The job involves:

  • Supervision of dogs in daycare areas
  • Daily cleaning
  • Interacting with clients, answering the phone and taking payments
  • Daily fun activities with the dogs such as treat time, ball time and bacon bubbles

No specific skills needed, but you must be confident in handling all breeds/ size of dog.

A pass in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent is desirable but not essential.

if you do not already have this, you must be prepared to work towards your Functional Skills qualification.

Full Training through Haddon Training and the employer at the employers premises.

PetWise is looking for someone who is outgoing, confident, must LOVE dogs, good time keeper, can work well as part of a team in a busy environment.

For the right candidate there may be an opportunity for further training or employment.

Working pattern is Monday - Friday - 30 hrs per week between the hours of 7am and 6pm.
