Description of Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Club Systems International Ltd for an Apprentice Receptionist to work within this important team, you will be required to carry out the following duties.

  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls via a small telephone switchboard.
  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
  • Set up meeting rooms.
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying and database administration as applicable.
  • Booking Couriers / chasing deliveries.

You would also have the opportunity to enrol onto a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner standard.

Each Apprentice will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e-learning, face to face training and workplace mentoring; this will encourage and help them to meet the requirements of the new standards and will prepare them for the end of point assessment.

Must have an excellent telephone manner with a good command of the English language. Confident and enthusiastic. Strong customer service skills.
Ideally candidate should have achieved GCSE grade A*-C 0r level 4-9 in English and Maths or equivalent.

Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner standard.
