We are looking for a technically savvy and resourceful apprentice to join our new central office in Birmingham.
Job Role
As a Level 3 Software Developer Apprentice, you will be undertaking a recognised apprenticeship qualification including Microsoft certifications, at the same time as working as part of the companys software development team.
You will work as part of the team to learn about the latest technologies the company uses to deliver what their clients need, including ASP.NET Core and Azure. You will be assisting with projects and gaining on the job knowledge whilst gaining a qualification.
As a Microsoft Software Developer Apprentice your main role and responsibilities will include:
Assisting directors with writing code using ASP.NET Core and Azure
Testing domains
Working on software development projects for clients
Developing web applications
Training to work as Full Stack Software Developer

We would prefer someone who has shown some previous interest in becoming a software developer. This may mean that you have undertaken some personal projects, or activities such as computer game modding, for example. You will also need:
A willingness to learn new IT skills
A proactive nature
Good communication skills
To be a team player
A desire to deliver high quality work
A logical thinker with the ability to solve difficult problems in elegant ways
To be considered for this role, you must hold a C/4 grade in both GCSE Maths & English, and in three or four other subjects at least. You will have gained a GCSE, BTEC or A Level in IT or have some hands-on experience with software, coding & programming.
