Description
You will gain exposure to various responsibilities within VAT, accounts, personal tax and payroll.
Duties may include:
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders and limited companies
- Preparation of simple taxation computations
- Preparation of personal tax computations
- Contact with clients by phone and email
- Extensive use of Xero and Excel, and checking of financial records for accuracy, ensuring activities are carried out in accordance with agreed procedures

The successful candidate must have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Maths at Grade 6 or B
- Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship Standard (Level 3)

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm
