This vacancy is advertised at National Minimum Wage for Age.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at this venue for an apprentice chef to join our team. Working alongside the team and head chef you will be responsible for supporting the kitchen operation and all that goes along with this. The main role and responsibilities include;
-assist the head chef with day to day running of the kitchen
-follow instructions and prep lists provided by HC / GM
-work to H&B recipe manual with direction from HC
-be proactive in all sections and tasks that are set
There are a number of exciting online modules supported by us, in order to build your knowledge and confidence in this role and we will support you all the way. You will also be trained in all areas of health and safety, food safety, allergens and develop confidence in legislation and documentation that goes along with working within this role.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who has the drive to create great dishes to the highest of standards.

Good communication skills
None required, but GCSE English and Maths may be useful
Commis chef apprenticeship training alongside maths and English training, if required. There is also in-house training which will be supported by your line manager.
You will need to be punctual and dedicated to the role.
It will be ideal for anyone who likes working in a hands-on role and has a passion for hospitality or cooking
