Description
As an Apprentice AutoCAD Designer and Estimator what will you be
doing?
- You will learn how to work
from client specifications to provide quotations and then produce designs for
manufacture and installation. Once the quotation has been accepted you will
order materials from existing suppliers arrange delivery of materials to site
and oversee the project administration up to completion.
- The role will require you
to communicate over the telephone and via email with clients, update databases,
produce quotations and create designs based on client’s specifications.
- All aspects of the role
will be supervised and full training will be provided to the successful
candidate. Knowledge of computers is essential and AutoCAD experience and
knowledge of construction would be an advantage. The use of a computer
programme specifically for designing the pre-stressed floors and stairs will be
a large part of your daily work.
