The main apprenticeship duties will cover the following areas:

  • Purchase ledger invoices input and reconciliation
  • Credit Card invoice input and reconciliation
  • Customer Services calls and administration
  • Client system updates on job progression
  • Filing of purchase ledge invoices
  • Aged Debt Reports
  • Management Information Reports

  • Effective communication skills with customers and all members of staff
  • Organisational skills to plan workload
  • Timekeeping to ensure prompt attendance and meeting deadlines
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office

There are no formal qualifications required but a reasonable standard of English and Mathematics is preferred.

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship
  • There will also be the chance to obtain Functional Skills in Mathematics and English if required

  • Desire to follow a career in either accountancy or business administration
  • Able to work as part of a friendly team
  • Presentable and professional
  • Proactive nature to want to be involved in creating improvements and working in a successful team
  • Customer service experience (not essential)

There is potential for the role to develop into a full time permanent position, upon successful apprenticeship. Hard work and a positive attitude would allow the position to become an important position within the administration functions.
