Description of Opportunity

Bring to life kitchen excellence in your site by driving the passion for food in your business and encouraging knowledge and pride throughout the whole team.

To prepare and deliver great food, by putting our customers at the heart of everything you do. You will be responsible for the day to day running and performance of the kitchen operation through motivating the team to deliver excellent food, high standards and customer focus.

Ensuring all food from Cakes, to Carvery to Restaurant is prepared, deliver excellent standards and quality at all times, paying particular attention to brand specifications to make sure all dishes are cooked and delivered right first time.

Please be aware that for this role you will need kitchen experience and experience leading a team, with a proven track record of improving guest experience

Greene King are offering an award-winning apprenticeship programme. The scheme provides opportunities for new team members to achieve an Apprenticeship through 15-month training programmes designed to perfectly match roles in the licensed hospitality sector.

No previous qualifications required but must have previous experience within a kitchen environment.
Senior Production Chef Level 3 Functional skills in Maths and English
-Highly organised -Confident and self-motivated -High levels of energy and drive -Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure -Cooking qualifications (desirable)
Ongoing training and development within Greene King as well as through the apprenticeship training programme.
