Our client helps online sales companies and manufacturers move away from traditional on-site server systems and onto the cloud. We help them to choose and install the right cloud systems for their business. 



These systems can be integrated to work together automatically, saving our clients time, manual effort and money – and boosting profitability. The client are specialists in both installation and integration of cloud-based software and provide training and ongoing support for these systems too. 



Overview: 



Our client are now looking for a L3 Data Specialist Apprentice to join their ever-growing team and business. 



Principal responsibilities: 





  • Identify, collect and migrate data to and from a range of cloud-hosted systems


  • Manage, clean, abstract and aggregate data


  • Analyse, filter and manipulate data in a variety of formats 


  • Apply tools and techniques for data analysis 


  • Summarise and present daMeet project objectives and targets 


  • Work effectively both as an individual and as part of a team 


  • Update and maintain internal systems on a daily basis, recording time spent on tasks and
    updating task statuses 


  • Adhere to data protection standards when working with personal data 


  • Support peers on data activities 




Within the first 6 months the successful candidate will be expected to: 





  • Fully understand the range and purpose of cloud software systems used by our clients


  • Be able to competently import and export data from Unleashed, Xero and Shopify


  • Understand how to back up an Unleashed system


  • Be able to troubleshoot basic data queries in Unleashed and Shopify


  • Have an understanding of how cloud systems interact with each other


  • Be able to solve some data related support tickets


  • Know what tasks they can perform and which tasks to escalate based on a risk assessment


  • Be competent in designing basic documents in Unleashed


  • Understand the importance of data protection, data quality and the impact on clients if things
    go wrong


  • Create Docusign approvals

Entry Level Requirements: 



The entry requirements for this programme are as follows: 





  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject 


  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above) 


  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject 




Experience (if the learner can’t meet the qualification requirements): 





  • Those working in a role (for at least 6 months) where data is used on a regular basis and able to demonstrate working towards Level 2 in Maths and English. 




If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
