Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing data/records
  • Reviewing, drafting and producing legal documents and standard forms
  • Assisting with the inception, progress and completion of client files
  • Carrying out research and handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Communicating (written and oral) with internal and external clients
  • Supporting in court hearings i.e. creating bundles, preparing witnesses etc.

  • Be able to demonstrate that you have a strong, keen interest in Law and be willing to undertake the Paralegal (Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) 21-month apprenticeship;
  • Be open to learning a broad range of processes with the support of qualified solicitors, legal officers and officers within the Business Support Team who work closely with and support the Legal Service

  • Must have a minimum of 5 GCSE including Maths and English grade C/5 or above (or equivalent
  • Have a minimum of 2 A Levels (including Law)
  • Good standards of written English

Level 3 Paralegal apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

  • Be a collaborative team worker who can accurately follow instructions but also show individual initiative when required
  • Have a cheerful can-do attitude to work be able to manage your own allocated workload independently
  • Be forward thinking in providing ideas and solutions to streamline processes
