Description

The technical team at Taylor Wimpey are responsible for the design of our sites above and below the ground. They are made up of Engineers and Design Executives. The Engineers are responsible for establishing all of the infrastructure that connects a new development and putting in place all important things that enable a community to thrive. From roads to sewers and all the utilities you expect from a modern, functional dwelling, our engineers are a vital part of ensuring each home meets and exceeds our customers’ expectations. Whilst the Designers are responsible for designing the right mix of standard house types, open spaces and social areas to create places our customers really love to live in. As a Trainee Technical Coordinator, you will learn all aspects of design and engineering in order to later decide where you will focus your career. This is an exciting opportunity to train to become a qualified technical professional by joining the Management Trainee programme. It’s perfect for someone either leaving school or college with A levels or a Construction related qualification or someone who has already gained their degree in an Architecture or Civil Engineering focused discipline and wants to develop their experience.

Computer Literacy

Full Driving Licence or working towards a licence.

Maths and English 4-9 (A-C)
The sucessfull candidate will attend Exeter College one day a week during term time only.
