Description

  • Maintaining the Sales Ledger / Purchase Ledger inbox
  • Incoming and outgoing post
  • Answering phone calls and dealing with queries
  • Posting invoices / payments to PL/SL accounts and allocate as required
  • Manage customer / Supplier statements
  • Respond promptly and completely to both internal and external queries
  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone and email and diarise follow up actions
  • Undertake account reconciliations as required
  • Remittance checking and reconciliation before payments received
  • New customer / supplier set up on Exchequer and Big Change systems when the correct authorisation process has been met
  • Maintain accurate records of all activity
  • Provide cover for other accounting functions as requested
  • Production of invoicing across all divisions of the business
  • Providing ad hoc reporting as required
  • Providing administrative support to the FC
  • Development into bank reconciliations
  • Development into management accounts, accruals, prepayments
  • Training and development in line with progress at college
  • Qualify for AAT and then CIMA
  • Other duties as delegated by management
  • Manage the admin tasks of the finance team
  • Any other finance team requirements

Without experience - £10,000 - £12,000
