Description

As a Commis chef in training, you will be involved in all aspects of the daily kitchen routine as you work towards your level 2 qualification.

To begin, you'll collaborate closely with other chefs to help you gain confidence. As you gain confidence in your abilities, you will begin to use your newfound skills to run your own areas of the kitchen.


Duties will include:

  • Take part in Food safety training in line with current legislation
  • Supporting senior chefs
  • Prepare Ingredients
  • Cook fresh ingredients using various different cooking methods & techniques
  • Plating and presentation of food
  • Portion & stock control
