Our Apprenticeships are a great way for school leavers to earn whilst working towards gaining professional qualifications. The Buzzacott apprenticeship programme enables value-driven, bright individuals who want to embark on a career in Audit or Accounting the opportunity to become fully qualified on an exciting, debt-free route at one of the UK's Top 25 accountancy firms.
Training provided:
- You will study towards the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 3 and Level 4 qualification over 30 months.
- Continued career progression is supported with a view for further study towards the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for the Accounting Associate position and towards becoming an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) for the Audit Associate position.
- You will have paid study leave to support you in the run up to exams and all course and exam fees paid for.
No previous experience is required for our apprentice roles, but to apply you will need to have:
- A minimum of 120 UCAS Tariff points from your top 3 A-levels, or equivalent (300 using the old tariff).
- A minimum of Level 5 (B grade using the old system) in GSCE Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
- The right to work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of the training contract.

Audit Associate, Apprentice:
Working within Audit involves examining organisations' financial statements and ensuring their accounts are a 'true and fair' representation of their performance. In Audit, the work taken on affects investment decisions, inspires confidence and supports economic growth.
The Audit Associate apprenticeship is available within the following Buzzacott teams:
- Charity & Not-for-Profit, a team of over 100 Audit specialists making them one of the largest single-office charity teams in the UK. They audit, advise and support a wide range of sectors within charities and not-for-profit organisations, including religious orders, membership bodies, dynamic social enterprises, international NGOs and Arts & Culture charities.
- Corporate Assurance, a team of over 60 Audit specialists focusing on understanding how a business works and the risks that are associated with it. They audit unlisted companies and LLPs of all sizes from start-ups to large groups and specialise in FCA regulated firms, professional practices, media and technology companies and UK parents and subsidiaries of international groups.
Accounting Associate, Apprentice
Accounting involves recording, cataloguing, analysing and reporting a company’s financial transactions. It is vital in order to fully understand a company's financials so they can strategically plan future expenditures in line with their business objectives.
The Accounting Associate apprenticeship is available with Buzzacott's Business Services team, which is a division of the Firm's wider Corporate team and consists of approximately 50 people. They are dedicated to providing the full complement of outsourced services, covering accounting and other administrative functions such as management accounting, VAT and regulatory reporting for clients in the financial sector.
