Due to a rise in demand in the UK and Globally, and future expansion aspirations, the company is looking to appoint a passionate IT Support Technician to support our growing portfolio of clients.



This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) providing IT Support, with exposure to Cloud and VoIP services.

Candidate requirements:



The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to explain technical solutions clearly and unambiguously to customers at all levels in a diplomatic manner and to follow instructions/procedures accurately with a high level of attention to detail. You will also demonstrable interest in IT, have analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrate evidence of ability to work independently and as part of a team, be approachable and identifiable to provide the best service possible.



Key responsibilities: 





  • Taking initial Support calls & emails from customers and creating support cases


  • Working on Microsoft M365 platform


  • Working on Google Workspace Platform


  • Assist with Hardware Support/Repairs, Preparation and Testing


  • Assist with customer Software Installations and System Commissioning


  • Potential to work on migration projects to Cloud from on premises


  • Liaise with Field Engineers and Support them as needed


  • Provide 1st line support to customers – via telephone, email and remote working


  • Provide Onsite Support to clients


  • \li
    etwork installs

  • Server upgrade and install work


  • \li
    etwork upgrade and management

Entry requirements:



The entry requirements for this Cloud Network Specialist programme are as follows:





  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject


  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)


  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject 




You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. 



If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
