Overview:  



We are looking for someone creative to join our growing Digital Marketing team as a Digital Marketing Apprentice. 



The apprentice will be based in Newton-le-Willows. 



Full training over a number of months would be provided, working closely with colleagues in all areas of the business.

Main role / Duties: [Once trained, you would be responsible for:]





  • Assist in the planning and day to day tasks required to support the marketing of MCC Digital


  • Support the delivery of marketing plans developed by the team


  • Support events run by MCC, through promotion and event management


  • Content creation for web and socials


  • Blog writing 


  • Develop and build digital marketing assets for short-term campaigns


  • \li
    ecessary administration tasks that contribute to the day-to-day operation of a busy and growing marketing department 



What we are looking for:



Essential skills and Personal qualities: 





  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills


  • Good organisation and time management skills


  • Strong attention to detail, especially when preparing copy text


  • Able to work from a brief and maintain the company’s style


  • Happy to work as a team, giving, responding, and working from feedback


  • Creative! We welcome applications from people who think outside the box




Desirable: 





  • Some familiarity with Adobe’s suite


  • Previous experience in short courses / Design


  • Keen interest / knowledge in the Apple brand


  • Live within 40 minutes commute of Newton-le-Willows or Earlestown train station. (Business is very close by) 




Entry requirements:



The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:





  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject


  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)


  • The learner must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject




You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. 



If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Position: 



15-month apprenticeship / Fixed term contract / with a strong view to offering a fulltime role on successful completion.



Working week: 



Monday to Thursday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, 



Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.



Salary:



£14,000 - £16,000 per annum.

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.



To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
