L3 Information Communication Technician Apprenticeship

- Salary: £15,000 to £16,000 Per Annum
- Apprenticeship duration: 16 months total: 13 months Practical,
3-month EPA.
Job
Description:
To provide general and routine ICT support to customers and
staff within TBM, e.g. basic IT diagnosis and fix, undertaking routine
maintenance of resources and equipment, support of common software packages
used by of customers and other general tasks as appropriate under the
supervision/instruction of senior staff.
Your
duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

Learn how to use our ticketing system and how to
communicate with customers.
·
Support a user base of over 500 end users via
telephone, call logging system and e-mails, with some onsite work.
·
Office 365 console administration.
·
Configuration of Security for end users
including 2FA and MOTP.
·
Assist in the deployment of computer hardware
and software for customers.
·
Configuration, installation of both printers and
photocopier/MFP’s with our Print Team.
·
Will learn to apply structured techniques to
common and non-routine problems, testing methodologies and troubleshooting and
analyses problems by selecting the digital appropriate tools and techniques in
line with organisation guidance and to obtain the relevant logistical support
as required Learn the working knowledge of a range of cabling and connectivity,
the various types of antennas and wireless systems and IT test equipment.

Monitoring of Backups.
·
Perform various stock check requests as advised
by IT Manager.
·
Monitoring of patch updates across our customers
systems.
·
Be aware of and comply with policies and
procedures relating health, safety and security, confidentiality and data
protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
·
To meet all learning commitments of the
apprenticeship as directed by your line manager, the apprenticeships manager or
the learning/training provider. Assigned qualifications and an end point
assessment must be completed. This can include presentations, portfolios, units
of assessment and exams

The Apprentice will carry out their duties and
any ad hoc requests with accuracy and professionalism
·
Hold a full clean driving licence.
Qualifications:
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language
and Maths)

Organisational skills - The ability to manage your own workload
and to work to team and project deadlines.

to be provided:

efficient operation and control of the IT and Telecommunications infrastructure
and to deliver and support the information systems needs of an organisation.
Options include pathways for Support Technician, Network Technician and Digital
