Duties and Responsibilities

As the IT Technician Apprentice, you will be asked to:

  • Liaise with front of house staff to deliver a great service to our customers
  • Log and receive customer orders using in house CMS
  • Repair of devices (computers, laptops, games consoles)
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues of computers and mobile phones
  • Operating system installation and setup
  • GDPR compliance

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Good knowledge/experience in the IT sector
  • Time management and organisation
  • Some experience in a customer service role would be advantageous
  • Eagerness to learn and take on responsibility
  • Knowledge about operating systems
  • Good literacy skills

A minimum of 5 GCSEs A / C (9 / 4) including Maths and English are required. A qualification or work experience in IT would be beneficial for this role.


Our training provider is one of the leading IT Apprenticeship training providers. A tutor will come to the workplace and work with you on a one - to - one basis, and help you towards completing you Level 3 advanced IT Infrastructure qualification
