Description

Supporting the recruitment of staff by uploading advertisements, collating applications, applying for references, producing schedules and assisting on interview days if needed.

? Supporting the recruitment and selection process including pre-employment and new starter processes

? Supporting the accurate maintenance of the HR systems and processes

? Supporting the HR Team with the maintenance of the Single Central Record for employees

? Supporting the HR Team with absence management procedures

? Minute taking in formal meetings

? Supporting payroll activities including variations to contract, sickness and maternity and leaver processes

? Assisting with Probationary Period administration

? Ensuring the maintenance of employee records, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality

Helping to manage the shared HR in-boxes

? Data inputting of new starter employment details onto HR database and ensuring all electronic staff files are legal and up to date

? Assisting with general copying, filing, archiving of documents as required

? Responding to day to day queries and providing basic human resources advice

Maths and English GCSE A*-C/9-4 desirable

Alongside the practical elements of the role, the successful candidate will undertake the Level 3 HR Support programme. The programme centres around key HR systems, policies,

and processes to ensure that the knowledge, skills and behaviours the apprentice learns and develops are highly relevant to the role and enables them to implement compliant and customer focused HR practice.

After gaining the core HR knowledge, skills and behaviours, the post holder will find that

progression can take many avenues such as HR Administrator, Advisor, Officer, Manager, a

Resourcing role, or HR Analyst. They may also be eligible to apply to become an Associate

member of the CIPD which forms the basis for further qualifications and development.

The successful candidate will be employed initially on an 18-month contract and whilst we

are unable to guarantee a permanent contract at the end of the Apprenticeship we expect

opportunities for permanent employment to become available.
