Description

Brian Meehan Racing are looking for a full time rider to join their flat racing yard. The successful candidate must have racing experience, they will ride multiple horses each day, and feed, water and groom the horses at evening stables.

This apprenticeship in racing will enable you to learn the skills needed to successfully care for racehorses to a high standard and provides a solid introduction to the industry. Haddon Training's racing apprenticeships are entirely work-based, with no day leave required for training. They also fulfill the BHA requirements for those looking to apply for a jockey licence.

Free accommodation is available on site, however there is no option to bring your own horse into livery. Days of work between Monday - Saturday, hours of work to 6:30am to 12:30pm then 4pm to 5:30pm
