Sellectronics is one of the most high-tech manufacturing businesses in Cornwall and it is experiencing exciting growth, it is a great time to join the business.As the Production apprentice, you will undertake a L2 engineering apprenticeship. We will introduce you to a range of areas in the business and help you to develop new skills during the apprenticeship, these range from manufacturing Printed Circuit Boards and Assemblies (PCBA), prototyping, hand soldering work as well as continuous improvement and quality skills. We will also help you to understanding the role of Production in the business. Based at Sellectronics in Falmouth, Cornwall, you will combine academic studies and practical training at a local college over a designated period.
As a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Apprentice, youll work closely with the Head of HSE to learn, create and update job safety programmes for Parker Meggitts employees. This includes key government health and safety regulations as well as company standards for safety in the workplace.
As an Apprentice Upholsterer at Shackletons, you will embark on a hands-on learning experience, working closely with experienced craftsmen and craftswomen. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop essential skills in modern upholstery techniques, fabric selection, and furniture assembly, contributing to the production of our premium furniture pieces.
As an Apprentice Wood Machinist at Shackletons, you will undergo comprehensive training to develop the skills necessary for precision woodworking and machining. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will contribute to the production of high-quality furniture components while learning essential techniques and safety practices.
-Assist qualified Gas Engineers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas systems. -Learn to identify and diagnose issues with gas systems and equipment. -Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure safe working environments. -Participate in training sessions to gain technical and practical knowledge. -Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
