Description

Ash Farm are a family run boarding kennels, daycare and cattery which operates all year round. We have 5 friendly dedicated members of staff. We are offering a Level 2 (intermediate) apprenticeship to work and learn at the kennels alongside our team.

Duties include:

  • Cleaning kennels and cat pens
  • Socialising the dogs
  • Meet and greet with customers and their animals
  • Giving Medication
  • Taking bookings from customers
  • Ensuring all welfare of the animals are to a high standard while in our care.

The kennels have a canine hydrotherapy and grooming parlor, which apprentices are welcome to be involved.


Ash Farm are looking for our new team member to join us in January/February time.

No previous experience necessary, but must be hardworking and willing to learn.

A GCSE or equivalent pass in English and maths is beneficial but not essential. If you do not have passes, we will support you in achieving your Functional Skills English and maths qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.

All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.
