Description

We are a family run boarding kennels, daycare and cattery which operates all year round. We have 5 friendly dedicated members of staff. We are offering a Level 2 (intermediate) apprenticeship to work and learn at the kennels alongside our team.

Duties include:

  • Cleaning kennels and cat pens
  • Socialising the dogs
  • Meet and greet with customers and their animals
  • Giving Medication
  • Taking bookings from customers
  • Ensuring all welfare of the animals are to a high standard while in our care.

The kennels have a canine hydrotherapy and grooming parlour, which apprentices are welcome to be involved.


We are looking for our new team member to join us in January/February time.

No previous experience necessary, but must be hardworking and willing to learn.
GCSE pass in maths and English is desired but not essential as Functional Skills can be offered.
All training will take place at the employer's premises, supported by the employer, and carried out by Haddon Training.
