Why our client?



Our client is a specialist recruitment consultancy in science, technology, engineering and manufacturing (STEM) They are passionate sector specialists with an impressive track record in two key areas: technology, digital, engineering and manufacturing – including energy, utilities and supply chain. They have a great opportunity for a Business Support Apprentice to join their team in Hillington!



What's involved:





  • Inputting and maintaining all relevant client or candidate information into the internal system Firefish database


  • Formatting CV's into their template using Word and uploading these to Firefish


  • Ensuring calls are transferred and messages passed on accurately to internal stakeholders


  • Using all digital platforms such as Linkedin


  • Handling incoming calls


  • Microsoft 365 For filing internal documents


  • Using Adobe Sign for signing and sending client documents


  • Using Photoshop to create flyers and social media posts


  • Scheduling social media posts


  • Capturing enquiries from both clients and candidates onto Firefish


  • Sending out business terms and conditions to new clients


  • Helping to arrange business events such as team building exercises and Christmas nights out

  • Organisation and attention to detail skills




Salary:











£18,000 per annum



Working week:



35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.



On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
