Vacancy Detail

The role will require you to work 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, with 1 week in every 8 spent training with ADA and the other 7 weeks working at Just Eat.

You will receive a 25 days holiday package along with an additional day for your Birthday.

You will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service is delivered, high performance and quality is maintained, and consumers of the service are valued. This is a role that has responsibilities of our largest market and so has high expectations and is a fantastic opportunity for you to join an amazing company and make your mark. Along with the core functions of this role you will also be seconded to other teams within Enterprise IT including the following: Process & Project Support, Workplace Technology and Identity and Access Management.

These are some of the key ingredients of the role:
- Supporting end users with their IT needs globally, whilst providing excellent customer service and becoming a champion within our Techaway Support function
- Helping setup new JET employees with their devices and accounts
- Developing and learning about new end user technology (GSuite, Windows, Chrome OS, Apple macOS, New Devices)
- Setting up and supporting audio visual equipment and events
- Leading or supporting on projects within the team
- Creating/updating knowledge documents on processes within the team

The Apprenticeship:


As part of this apprenticeship, you will study and work towards the completion of a Digital & Technology Solutions Professional (DTSP) Level 6 Degree and will meet the criteria of the ‘Tech Consultant’ pathway. This is made up of technical training, workplace projects, off the job learning and an end point assessment.

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting software, optimising performance, and setting up virtual environments. Training is delivered in person with expert trainers and will include self-guided modules created by industry specialists.

- You have to be 18 years old and over and must have lived in the UK / EEA for the last 3 years
- You can’t already have a degree which is too similar (e.g., Computer Science Degree)
- Must have GCSE Maths and English (Grades A-D or 9-4) (or equivalent)
- Must have 3 A Levels or BTEC Level 3 or a Level 3 Apprenticeship (or equivalent)

This Level 6 standard is integrated with a degree in Digital & Technology solutions which is validated by the Open University. Each cohort spends their first 6 weeks at college taking part in our Launchpad training.

This training not only covers modules for the degree programme but also ensures to prepare you for the workplace. Following the Launchpad training you will return to your employer for 7-8 weeks returning to Ada for one-week blocks on a rotation basis.

Recruitment Process:


- First stage: Apply via the Firebrand Recruitment Portal - Successful applicants will be screened for eligibility and then short listed to complete an online assessment

- Second stage: All shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete an online assessment via our third-party company Hirevue. This will consist of two gamified assessments & five video interview questions that you can complete on any smartphone, tablet, or computer/laptop. (please let ADA know if you do not have access to a device, we can support with this).

- Third Stage: Top scoring applicants will be invited to a screening call with the JET talent acquisition team.

- Fourth (Final) Stage: Successful finalists will be invited to an assessment day at our London office (lunch and all materials provided).

Assessment Day:
You will be given a tour of the office and then the assessment day will consist of the following:
- Presentation -A scenario will be shared in advance, giving you time to prepare. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A
- Group exercise - Get to know each other and work on a task together
- Coding and network cable exercises - Get to work on some EIT related tasks
- Interview - A chance for us to get to know you
- Lunch Q&A with the team - Pose your questions to the team.
