If so, you should consider joining the Project Delivery profession as an apprentice within DWP.



This is an exciting opportunity to earn as you learn and get hands on practice while you study towards a Level 4 qualification and achieve your Association for Project Management practitioner level qualification over an 18-month training programme. You’ll be given up to 6 hours a week paid time off to complete coursework alongside developing crucial skills, knowledge and behaviours as part of your job during the rest of the week. More information about the apprenticeship is detailed in the candidate information pack attached. 



DWP are looking for highly motivated people with a passion to challenge themselves to complete the 18-month apprenticeship programme. Throughout, you will be supported by a qualified skills coach, your line manager and a nominated apprenticeship lead. 



To be eligible for the apprenticeship you are required to meet the following minimum eligibility criteria: 





  • Hold a valid passport/birth certificate or residence permit.


  • Have the right to live and work in the UK.


  • Must have lived in the UK and/or EEA for 3 years prior to apprenticeship start date or have refugee status.


  • You must hold GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C/Grade 4 or equivalent or be willing to undertake a functional skills test 


  • Not be in full-time education or be undertaking another apprenticeship by the start date.


  • You must not hold an existing project delivery (eg. APM, Prince 2) qualification at the same or higher level.
