Description

QA Apprenticeships are partnering with one of UK’s largest independent transport operators and Scottish Public Transport Operator of the Year 2022. They are recruiting for an apprentice to join their team in the East of Scotland, based at their Larbert Depot. 



This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to develop their digital skills, gain valuable work experience and work in a friendly team. The successful candidate will operate in a dual role: supporting the in-house Training Academy and Operations Team. You will receive an insight about the transport industry, business operations and all aspects of administration.



You will be supported throughout your business orientated apprenticeship by a line manager and mentor.



Responsibilities:





  • Supporting recruitment administration including reviewing CVs and applications from all job adverts


  • Arranging and organising interviews via MS Outlook


  • Completing Right to Work checks including uploading relevant documentation and IDs


  • Managing and updating MS Excel recruitment trackers


  • Completing general administration duties to support wider team including using MITAS (in-house CRM system) and accurately recording any updates


  • Reviewing any customer complaints and allocating to appropriate Depot Manager


  • Managing accident referral forms


  • Reviewing any transport timelines, identities inconsistencies and flagging to your Line Manager


  • Each week, you will spend one day shadowing the Operations Director and supporting with any administrative duties as required




Required skills:



We are looking for a person passionate about developing their administration career with strong communication skills, a flair for customer service and ability to multi-task.



Salary:



Up to £12,583.20 (National Minimum Wage for age)



Working week:



35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day-to-day role.



On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
