Description

Waste Source is a waste brokerage and management company that works heavily in the retail and hospitality sectors. As part of our ongoing push to grow the company year on year they are looking for a smart sales prospector to create interest in our service and convert that interest into a conversation.

The days of cold calling are over. They utilise the latest social networks to research, identify and then approach decision makers. Therefore a solid understanding of using social networks and web based applications is essential.

You must be professional and coherent. All further training will be provided and daily duties, for the successful candidate, will include:

  • identifying opportunities from daily newsletters.
  • maintaining database of sales prospects.
  • contacting prospective customers.

They are based in the Tobacco Factory in Bristol, a pretty nice place to work. They have really great customers and suppliers plus they like to go for a beer after work on a Friday!

A good understanding of social media, friendly, a team player, the ability to be outgoing and develop relationships.

A GCSE or equivalent pass in English and maths is beneficial but not essential. If you do not have passes, Haddon Training will support you in achieving your Functional Skills English and maths qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.

All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.

You must be professional and coherent, with a can do attitude.
A full time position within the company, with a tailored learning and development plan to ensure you progress within a career with Waste Source.
Must be able to travel to central Bristol.
