Description
It is the objective of Bright Smiles Day Nursery to provide the highest standards of care and education for all the children in the day nursery. As part of the role as a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprentie your responsibilities will include:
- Toileting
- Feeding
- Planning activities
- Doing risk assessments
- Reading stories
- Health and Safety
- Communicating with children and parents
Full training will be given in-house as well as "off the job" training with Realise.

- No formal qualifications are required but must have basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your
employer. Bright Smiles Day
Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to
up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated
as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard,
which includes:

Skills and Behaviours
- Level 2 Early
Years Practitioner Qualification
- Functional
skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered through Bright Smiles Day Nursery's dedicated training provider,
Realise.

exciting period of growth following a management buyout and rebrand in late
2020.
