Description

Foxbury Springs has been designed with excellent facilities to enable Adam to train all aspects of eventing from home. Adam and the team take great pride in delivering the highest level of care and attention for all resident horses.

Trew Eventing has competition horses and also offers short term training livery.

Non rider position preferred but can hack horses if wanted and the opportunity to travel to national and International events to assist the current travelling groom.

General duties to include; Mucking out Turning out/bringing in Tack cleaning Tacking up Feeding Filling hay nets Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming Bathing Rug changing Paddock maintenance Schooling Riding First aid Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, horse walker, long reining, pessoa training etc.) Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

Some horse Care experience is essential to be successful with this application.

Level 4+ in GCSEs / Level 1+ in Functional Skills desirable but not essential.

Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training, along with maths and English functional skills if required.
