a Solutions Architect Apprentice, you play a pivotal role in
facilitating effective communication between diverse stakeholders,
streamlining the design and implementation of comprehensive solutions to
meet complex business challenges. Your proficiency encompasses
architectural design, system integration, and the utilisation of
advanced technologies to ensure the seamless deployment of solutions.
Serving as a catalyst for innovation, you leverage cutting-edge tools to

efficiency. In the dynamic realm of solutions architecture, you serve as

Solutions Architect apprentice at Amazon, you’ll gain a vast range of
useful experiences and skills. You will work towards the BSc (Hons)
Digital and Technology Solutions (IT Consultant).
Key job responsibilities
will be combining working in your assigned team as a Solutions
Architect apprentice whilst continuing your studies to achieve your
qualification. As a working student your focus is to complete your
studies in your 20% off the job time by learning and developing your
skills, knowledge and behaviours to work towards successful graduation.
You will be set objectives and goals by your training provider and
manager to support your studies.
You will build your skills over a
42-month period, starting in September. These skills will help you
develop personally and professionally. Your apprenticeship will be made
up of classroom/virtual based training to cover knowledge, on-the-job
training at your Amazon base location, online learning as well as
mentoring from our experienced team members.
As you progress through your apprenticeship you will become competent at:

- Collaborate with a team of experts to design and implement custom IT solutions.

Candidates should be 18 years or over before the start date and have the right to live and work in England PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
the apprenticeship program we prioritise applicants eligible to
government funding for their apprenticeship and for this you need to:
- Have lived in the UK or in the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years
- Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the program
- Not be registered to study on a UK government funded course ending August 2024 or later
- At least 5 GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above including Maths and English plus any of the following:
- 3 A-Levels (or equivalent qualification) grade C or above. Minimum of 1 A-Level must be within a STEM subject
*You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship*
note, you will be required to evidence your qualifications. If you have
gained qualifications outside of the UK you will be required to
evidence that they are equivalent.
Note: This Apprenticeship
assumes the candidate has some or little knowledge/experience of the
occupation, and is NOT suitable for candidates who already have a
similar or higher-level qualification in the same or similar subject of
