Description

This is a fantastic position at a busy international event yard!

Francis is a 5* event rider. The successful applicant will have a good existing knowledge of horse management and able to ride but willing to learn and improve and gain their qualifications whilst gaining valuable experience within a professional top level event yard.


This is a very exciting opportunity for somebody to work with and learn from a top level rider and head girl that have a vast experience of knowledge to pass on.

Duties will include:-

  • Mucking Out
  • Tacking Event
  • Attending Events
  • Lunging
  • Riding (competent only)
  • Turning out

Previous experience with horses or ponies is essential, ideally riding within a pony club or riding club so the basic understanding of how to care for horses and ride is established.
GCSE Level 4/ Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent.
Contact Haddon Training to discuss if not yet achieved - Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills Maths and English

A sense of humour is always a must when working with horses, alongside the ability to work in all weathers and a willingness to learn.

Possibility of level 3 equine apprenticeship on completion of level 2
