Pardoes Solicitors are looking for an enthusiastic full-time Apprentice to work from their Yeovil Branch. This is a Business Level 3 Apprenticeship with additional Legal modules and is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to get their foot on the legal ladder. The post holder will be working in an open office environment, meeting a wide range of persons and will have colleagues across multiple sites.

Description

As a Facilities Support Administrator/Receptionist you will be trained and assist in the following functions of the firm:

  • To sign for and deal with all matters relating to the logging of deeds and documents.
  • To control the deeds room.
  • To inform fee earners of receipt of any documents.
  • To carry out any photocopying requirements.
  • Carry out a weekly stock take of all stationery
  • To deal with all faxes and post.
  • To take control and log incoming and outgoing files and documents.
  • To act as a first point of contact with clients and others who telephone or visit Pardoes Office(s).
  • To keep the reception, meeting rooms and waiting area tidy at all times.
  • To make drinks for clients/meetings.
  • To effectively and efficiently operate the switchboard.
  • To open post and check envelopes after the post has been opened.
  • To ensure that the diary is updated promptly and that meetings are booked.
  • To act as a witness when called upon to do so.
  • To ensure that staff attendance/absenteeism lists are sent to each office promptly and that the daily sign in/out sheets are checked and kept up to date throughout the day.
  • To book in any packages and inform recipient that they have arrived.
  • To generally assist all teams across the company.
