Description

Who you’ll be working for:



Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of connectors in the electromechanical components market. The company has over 40 sales locations and 12 production sites worldwide. They are committed to providing exceptional service, quality products, and convenient design tools.



Responsibilities:





  • You will act as first point of contact for incoming communications via phone and email using Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Freshdesk to collaborate with internal teams to process enquiries and resolves concerns


  • Learn how to fulfil requests for new customer samples and purchase orders via customer portals, EDI, order entry queue, and the website. This involves inputting data into the internal CRM portal. (Salesforce)


  • Use internal CRM system to review customer purchase orders for special instructions and quality requirements, coordinating with the compliance team as needed


  • Process and maintain customer change order requests through the use of trackers and order details within the company’s CRM system


  • Coordinate expedite requests via Outlook or the website. This would be done via the internal ‘pull in program’, which allows you to monitor orders and expedite when required

  • Be able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills 


  • Demonstrate organisational and follow up skills 


  • Development towards effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks is also essential 


  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a team 


  • Be able to follow instructions 


  • Be able to demonstrate flexibility, good customer service, innovation and ability to look for win/win solutions 




Working week:
8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 8:30am - 4pm on Fridays



Salary:
£23,000 per annum



Future prospects:
Your salary will be reviewed upon completion of your apprenticeship program. The company wants you to become a successful long-term member of the team.

They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.



On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
