Description

Our client, a leading Business Telecoms Provider, is looking to add an IT Support Apprentice to their rapidly growing team based in Glasgow



This is a hybrid role which will be part office based and part field based. This is also a new role with huge potential to progress into their field-based engineer team.



Responsibilities:





  • Ensuring the highest quality of service is provided at all times through calls and emails with strict adherence to agreed service levels


  • Providing a first line support service to customers in a professional manner


  • Taking ownership of customer enquiries and managing to completion


  • Customising phone systems remotely as per customer requests


  • Troubleshooting faults with regards to the customer's phone system, broadband and mobiles


  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of current processes and procedures


  • Attending customer sites to further diagnose faults with telecoms and IT hardware and software




Required skills:





  • Technically minded with strong problem-solving skills


  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills


  • Highly organised, logical and methodical approach to work


  • An emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail


  • Energetic and positive outlook is a must


  • A full UK Driving licence




Salary:



£21,674 per annum



Working hours:



Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 8.
