Procurri are predominantly an IT focused / centric channel based services business. We provide IT enterprise hardware, distribution for major M’s (IBM, Lenovo, HP, Cisco, Fujitsu), IT Asset disposition services, hardware break/ fix maintenance, Data Centre services (Installs, Moves etc).



Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 
Whilst this is a technical role, you will be responsible for maintaining baseline standards of a modern ICT department i.e. observance of Cyber Security accreditations, Microsoft Best Practices and ITIL.



Main role / Responsibilities [will include but not be limited to]: 





  • Reporting directly to the Global IT Infrastructure Manager you will be required to be responsible for the day-to-day management of all relevant ICT systems and personnel.


  • Managing a helpdesk service function for all internal employees dealing with server hardware, server s/w applications and O/S, VoIP phone solution, email enquiries, application issues and not limited to issues regarding the Network and PC Operating Systems, ensuring staff are suitably trained and issues are dealt with in a prompt manner. 


  • You will also be required to provide regular reports on problem areas with specific suggestions for enhancement to benefit all users.


  • Reporting all non-conformances.

  • The personal attributes necessary to perform this role (in addition to those mentioned above) are primarily a methodical, logical organised mind. 


  • Tidy approach to completing tasks and achieving deadlines, as well as communicating the outcome. 




Personal qualities: 





  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 


  • The ideal candidate will be a team player, hardworking and with a hunger for new knowledge and technologies. 




Entry requirements:





  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject


  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)


  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject




You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.



If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
