Description

Cloud-Bridge are a fast-paced company specialising in the optimisation and delivery of professional services and managed services around all aspects of Public Cloud solutions with a specific focus on AWS.

We want to change the way people look at and use Public Cloud services as we believe any organisation from small start-ups to large multinationals can unleash the power these services to improve their business efficiency.

We are looking to jumpstart our apprenticeship programme and are inviting interested individuals to join the company as our Dev Ops Apprentice - Level 4

Role:

Combining software development and IT operations helps to shorten the development lifecycle and improve the quality of delivery .

With a focus on infrastructure, automation, rapid development, and deployment at its heart, a Cloud Bridge DevOps Engineer apprenticeship is anything but standard.

As an apprentice, you’ll develop the technical skills to build, test, and maintain the infrastructure and tools for the speedy development and release of software, giving you the ability to drive business technology forward. You’ll be able to help our clients implement their own devops methodologies and tooling, working with their infrastructure and dev teams.

Cloud Bridge is an AWS consultancy at its heart, so you’ll learn about AWS technologies and use these to build infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines and other DeVops tooling.

Responsibilities:

  • You will help to design and build infrastructure for clients, using DevOps methodologies.

  • You will help to gather customers’ requirements and talk through solutions with them on the phone (with the guidance of our senior solutions architects and DevOps specialists).

  • You will help to put together diagrams of infrastructure using our diagraming tools.

  • You will work with CI/CD tools to help optimise the software development lifecycle.

  • You will work with infrastructure-as-code technologies such as CloudFormation, CDK and Terraform.

  • There’s the opportunity to help shape the future of the Cloud Bridge DevOps practice, looking at how we can deliver the best infrastructure for our customers.
