Overview: 
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a 1st Line Support Apprentice. 
This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to kickstart a career in the fast-paced world of telecommunications and IT support.



Role duties: 





  • First line telephone support, diagnose issues with customers telephony services, both on-premise and cloud, plus connectivity services (broadband, ethernet circuits) 


  • Remote programming works, so changes to customer systems as and when requested 


  • Liaising with field based technicians to keep ticketing system up to date 


  • Liaising with customers to keep update regarding projects and tickets 


  • Liaising with suppliers regarding orders and requests 


  • Research services and products for sales team 


  • General admin tasks relating to service team 




What we are looking for: 
Skills and personal qualities: 





  • Good IT skills and knowledge 


  • Good communication skills 


  • Good telephone manner 


  • Good timekeeping


  • Positive attitude


  • Enthusiastic about wanting to learn about IT and Tech 




Entry requirements:





  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject


  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)


  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject




You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.



If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:15pm (5pm on a Friday) 36 hours a week.
