As a General Technician (Workshops) you will manufacture and repair parts for aircraft, vehicles and specialist equipment. You will be working in specially equipped workshops and aircraft maintenance hangars.
RAF General Technician (Workshops) - Level 3 Apprenticeship
Pay during first six months - £18,600 + benefits
Pay until completion of phase two training - £25,000 + benefits
Pay on completion of technical training* - £27,200 + benefits
*After you have completed one year of service and successfully completed Professional Workplace Assessments on first posting.
Applications are rolling and start dates vary throughout the year depending on when you've submitted your application.

Work includes manufacturing bridges, oil rigs, ships, petro-chemical installations, cranes, platforms, aircraft, automotive and machinery parts, sheet metal enclosures, equipment supports, and anything that can be fabricated out of metal.
