Description
The Spinney Day Nursery was established over 20 years ago and deliver the very highest standards of childcare.
They have an exciting opportunity for a childcare apprentice to join the team in their modern setting in Bell Meadow (including their own Forest School!)
In your role you will be;
- Supporting children's development in line with the EYFS and statutory requirements.
- Keeping children safe and well
- Supporting children's routines
- Day to day health and safety

- Outgoing, willing to learn, caring nature and smart appearance
- Academic ability to complete their level 2 or 3 apprenticeship in Early Years and an interest in Child Development as well as their own
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. The Spinney Day Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day
If successful, you will complete a level 2 early years practitioner apprentice programme, which includes;
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
- Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered through The Spinney Day Nursery's dedicated training provider, Realise
- Candidate must have a passion for working in Early Years and want this as a career
