Description
Little Folks is all about the child being at the centre of everything they do.
They are looking for a enthusiastic, determined apprentice to complete a Level 2 Early Years Apprenticeship, under the guidance of the established team.
Duties include;
- Caring for children's daily needs and following their routines.
- Providing and taking part in activities to develop children's learning.
- Enthusiasm and excitement for the children.
- Observing children's learning and development.
- General daily cleaning of the nursery.
- Assisting with mealtimes.
- Engaging in parent workshops.
- Working as a team player but also use initiative.
- Being eager to learn from others and have the confidence to ask questions to progress further.

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Little Folk's will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
- Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered through Little Folk’s dedicated training provider, Realise.
