Description

We are a company based in Bideford manufacturing church organ consoles, museum and exhibition stands and high end retail interiors.

We are looking for an apprentice to join our small, friendly team. We enjoy what we do! We take pride in creating things; all our work is bespoke, much of it designed in house. Our work is varied and we relish new challenges and learning new skills. We offer a combination of traditional skills and service, along with innovative ideas and techniques.

We use modern CAD and manufacturing technology to improve the design, planning, production and finish of the work we undertake.

Renatus has employed a number of apprentices over the years, many of whom have gone on to become valued long-term members of our team. Take a look at our website to meet the team and the past apprentices.

As an apprentice you will

  • work alongside other members of the team to begin with until you are confident with the tools and machines.
  • You will be expected to sand, use hand tools, power hand tools and woodwork machinery.
  • You will be required to help with the CNC machine, learn to use the computer software to access drawings etc.
  • Unload delivery lorries.
  • Clean and maintain your working bench and the workshop and machine shop.
