An established and award winning tech company are looking for an IT Support Engineer Apprentice to help support IT consultants and other IT technicians within the business and be the 1st point of contact for IT Support clients.
Duties and responsibilities of the role include:
Answering and completing IT Support tickets/helpdesk tickets raised by Support clients
Office 365 console administration
Helping with email migrations
Onboarding new clients
Support sales team with technical queries
Social media support
Setting up hardware for clients e.g. laptops, desktops, printers etc
Assisting in IT projects
Follow IT policies and procedures
Answering phone calls and passing on messages
Any ad hoc duties given by other members of the team

The entry requirements for this IT Support Engineer programme are as follows:
3 GCSEâs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
CORE MODULES
The apprenticeship contains the following three core key modules which seek to develop the
knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be a successful Information Communications Technician.
The final module is a Pathway module to provide specialist career track skills and knowledge depending
on which track was chosen at the outset from the 3 options available.
Computer Fundamentals & Security
Gain an understanding of the core concepts in computing including hardware, software, security and troubleshooting.
Introduction to Networking & Cloud Services
An introduction to the fundamental cloud
concepts of networking and cloud computing, including networking
modules, devices and protocols.
Communication in Support
Support in IT requires good communications skills. Develop your communications skills by exploring the best practices of support.
