Description

• Carry out electrical installation work to the latest edition of BS7671.

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to a 100% completion rate.

• Perform electrical test and inspection to the latest edition of BS7671.

• Provide urgent machinery breakdown cover out of hours, in accordance with the on-call rota.

• Carry out machinery breakdown repairs in a safe an efficient manner.

• Liaise directly with machine operators and Team Leaders from other departments as required.

• Complete daily timesheets and planned maintenance sheets in accordance with company policy.

• Responsible for meeting all safety and quality requirements.

• Report all health and safety issues to line manager, including near misses, property damage or injuries.

• Read, understand and comply with all Risk Assessments (RAs) within the department, and as relevant across other areas.

• Work to the relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.

• Ensure 5S is followed and carried out within the work area.

• Carry out daily standard work tasks within the work area.

• Work in a lean manner, maintaining a smooth flow of work and keeping indirect labour hours to a minimum.

• Contribute to any continuous improvement activities within the department as required.

• Take ownership for own learning and progression.

Assist in the learning and development of new starters when required.

• Ensure compliance with all necessary legislation and audit requirements at all times.

• Awareness of all environmental regulations and restrictions within the department.

• Adhere to the Health and Safety and Environmental Policies.
