Job Description:



We are seeking an Assistant Parts Controller to join our team, responsible for managing parts inventory and procurement processes. This role involves coordinating with different departments to fulfill parts requests, ensuring stock accuracy, and maintaining efficient stock control procedures.



Duties:





  • Review and monitor inventory levels across multiple locations.


  • Procure components as per parts requests from different teams.


  • Handle invoice processing and maintain accurate records.


  • Organise parts stocks and ensure proper allocation and storage.


  • Conduct regular stock checks and manage returns, including warranty returns.


  • Provide assistance to Field Service Engineers and maintain documentation for job sheets.




Requirements:





  • Prior experience in inventory management or parts procurement preferred.


  • Strong organisational and communication skills.


  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.


  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.


  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.


  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.




Desired Requirements:





  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


  • Additional certification or training in supply chain management beneficial but not essential.




Entry Requirements:





  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject


  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)


  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject




You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.



If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
