  • Assist in creating and developing product designs using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to contribute to design concepts and solutions.
  • Conduct research on materials, techniques, and industry trends to inform design decisions.
  • Support the design team in prototyping and testing of new products.
  • Learn and apply timber selection criteria and joinery techniques to design projects.
  • Assist in preparing technical drawings and specifications for production.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to maintaining design documentation and records.
  • Learn to analyze and solve design problems effectively.
  • Assist in communicating with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design requirements are met.
  • Support the team in meeting project deadlines and milestones.
  • Take initiative to learn new skills and techniques related to design engineering.
